The dti extends an invitation to your firm and other exporters of multi-sectoral products to apply to participate in the Ghana International Trade Fair (GITF) 2018, scheduled to take place from 21 February to 11 March 2018 in Tamale, Ghana. The deadline date for the submission of complete
National Pavilion application forms is 21 September 2017.
Assistance is provided to qualifying South African exporters to introduce South African products into foreign markets, in a cost effective manner.
The dti will offer the following financial support to qualifying South African exporters:-
• Exhibition space and booth rental costs;
• Freight forwarding of display material;
• Air travel assistance up to R17 000 (SMME and BOE only); and
• Daily subsistence allowance of R3 000 per day (SMME and BOE only).
This Trade Fair will focus on the following sectors:
• Agriculture and agro-processing;
• Handmade products/ Cultural Industries
• Agricultural Equipment
• Chemicals;
• Furniture and wood processing;
• Infrastructure (rail, road and telecoms);
• Built environment professionals (consulting engineers, civil engineering contractors,
quantity surveying and architects);
• Mining and capital equipment;
• Electro technical (electronics, electrical engineers, ICT) and
• Textile, leather and footwear.
The GITF is an annual exhibition which offers exposure to trade and public visitors.
